Welcome to SeineBight.Net. 66 years ago a hurricane struck the Southern part of British Honduras. The EYE of the hurricane passed through Seine Bight that particular day. After the first storm struck there was calm weather for about half an hour followed by very strong and powerful South-West winds. Fortunately, no one was hurt and no casualty. That hurricane changed the history of New Town forever. Clifford J. Palacio recently obtained a copy of letter written in 1941 by the then resident priest Fr. Knapp to his mother in the USA about that NO-NAME hurricane. Here is that letter.
